Scope and purpose of the Meeting
The Baltic Sea Annual Meeting serves as the regular forum for exchange of information, experiences and opportunities for collaboration among the occupational health and safety institutions in the ten BSN countries. At the same time, activities carried out within the NDPHS Task Group on OSH (TG OSH) framework are reported and discussed including review of the Partnership “Health at Work” Strategy, and topics to support the implementation of the WHO Global Plan of Action on Workers' Health, such as occupational health services and health promotion at the workplaces. Also, the work aims at implementation of the ILO Global Strategy on Occupational Safety and Health, as well as the EU Strategy on Safety and Health at Work. The activities for the next year and longer-term work programme are planned both for BSN and NDPHS collaboration. In addition, the meeting will produce 1) feedback to the accident underreporting report and 2) responses to enhancing safety culture in the member countries. http://www.balticseaosh.net/index.php
